What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis is a state of heightened awareness, a tool which you can tap into the power of your mind and create positive changes in your life. Hypnosis is the bypass of the critical factor of the mind allowing access to the subconscious. Every person who wishes to be hypnotized can be.
All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. The hypnotist is only the facilitator and there is no hypnosis unless you, the participant, are willing to cooperate in the process. The participant enters hypnosis in a very natural way of his or her own accord simply by following the suggestions of the hypnotist.

The hypnotist works with you during your session to create the most powerful session for you based on the information you provide and the goals you desire to achieve.
There is no special feeling and no special magic with hypnosis. What confuses most people are stage shows. In reality, you will be alert and hear everything being said during your hypnosis session. You will be in control at all times and you will never do anything which violates your moral and ethical code. Allowing the sub-conscious mind to open up to your own suggestions of negative behaviour change while you remain relaxed and alert. The deeper relaxed you allow yourself to be, the better you will feel and the more successful you will be.
What is Hypnosis Used For?
Hypnosis can be used for many reasons such as relieving stress, anxiety, insomnia, phobias, infertility, addictions such as drugs and alcohol, weight loss, smoking, increasing self-esteem and motivation and it also helps control chronic pain such as migraine headaches, arthritis, fibromyalgia, lupus and many other chronic pain problems.
Medically it can help in childbirth, decrease blood pressure, decrease bleeding post-operatively, and it is successfully used in pre and post-op surgery to speed up healing and to control pain.
